For Latino Heritage Month, Nike partnered with Her August to concept and produce an intimate dinner celebrating culture, creativity, and community. Designed as a love letter to Latin heritage, the evening brought together influential voices from across LA for an immersive experience that honored both past and future.
Every detail—from the custom Nike gifting and heritage branding to a cross-cultural menu and live poetic reading by Richard Cabral—was crafted to reflect the richness and nuance of Latin identity. The result was a warm, soulful gathering that felt more like home than a brand moment. Nike called it one of their most meaningful activations to date.

From the earliest brief to the final candle being blown out, Her August worked hand-in-hand with the Nike team to shape this event from the ground up. We collaborated closely on every layer—from creative concepting and graphic design to spatial details and pre-event storytelling—ensuring the experience felt both elevated and deeply personal.
As creative partners, we managed the budget, refined the vision, and made thoughtful adjustments along the way to bring Nike’s goals to life in a way that felt meaningful, not manufactured. The result: a night that delivered on impact, intimacy, and intention—praised not just for how it looked, but for how it made people feel.
